Why can’t I change the official name of my authority?
21/05/2009
The IMI system does not allow authority administrators to modify their official name directly (they can change the informal title and detailed description). Changes to the official name must be carried out by the validator coordinator in the authorities that have been created. Therefore, when an entity changes its official name (e.g. change of name of a Ministry, Department or Sub-Directorate) the validator coordinator (responsible for creating my authority in the system) must be contacted to request this modification.
