Functions
With the rank of Under-Secretariat, will foster and coordinate the activities of the General state administration to commemorate the 50 years since the beginning of the process to the transition to democracy.
Educational background
- European Phd in contemporary history from the university of Zaragoza and the university of Nantes in 2014.
- Master of Arts in Culture, Policy and Management por la City, University of London en 2010.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Management by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2007.
- Diplôme d'études approfondies (DEA) in contemporary history from the university of Zaragoza in 2006.
- Bachelor's degree in history, university of Zaragoza in 2004.
Professional experience
It combines its trajectory of historian with extensive experience as cultural manager. As academic, has worked at the University of Leeds, Newcastle University and the university of Zaragoza. His research focuses primarily on the relations between history, politics, culture and society, especially in the contemporary Spain case, highlighting its Well in the spanish cinema (1975-2000), published by Marcial Pons by 2022.
As cultural manager, has also worked in programming and production of interesting initiatives of transfer of knowledge, as the cultural programme of the european research project RISE “ Narratives of Crisis and Renewal ”, the Newcastle University; or the exhibition “ famine silenced. Hunger during the franco-war (1939-1952) ”, university of Granada. Has experience in managing large conferences and events, such as the V and VI Congresses Ibero-american Culture (Ministry of culture: Zaragoza, 2013; Costa Rica, 2014); and in the coordination of cultural centres (Centro Cultural Condeduque, City of Madrid, 2019-2021; Caixaforum Zaragoza, 2015-2016) where he performed the functions of coordinating and artists, monitoring of budget and communication.
